Reservations are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Be sure to make your reservations as early as possible.

Trail maps will be provided free of charge.

All rental reservations require a 50% deposit of total rental fee at time of booking.   ***see cancelation policy***

Fuel tanks will be full to start your adventure and must be returned full, failure to do so will result in a $50 Charge.

NO mileage restrictions.

Machines will be inspected with the operator before and after use to determine and damage or defects.

Machine must return clean. ANY access dirt or mud will result in addition cleaning resulting in charges of up to $500

Moosehead Trail Powersports does NOT recommend night riding, and please DO NOT drink and ride!

ITS 85 (Railroad bed) is accessible from our location here in dexter. Vehicle parking is available.

If delivery and/or pickup is at a rented cabin such as an airbnb please check on any rules regarding MTP staff being there early or late due to scheduling availability.

A MTP staff member will be available for emergencies 24/7 via cell phone.

Rental Policy

*All purchases must be made by CREDIT CARD.

*Minimum age to rent is 25 with valid drivers license.

*Minimum age to Operate is 18 years old with valid drivers license.

*Minimum age for a passenger is 8 years old and must be accompanied by an operator 18 years or older   with a valid drivers license.

***All operators must have a valid driver’s license***

Everyone renting a Snowmobile from Moosehead Trail Powersports must read, understand and sign a rental agreement. All operators and passengers must read, understand and sign a liability release form. Renters are responsible for all damages and liabilities associated with operation of the rental machine. Moosehead Trail Powersports requires a security deposit on your credit card before your rental departure.

***FAILURE TO SIGN DOCUMENTS WILL RESILT IN TERMINATION OF RENTAL AND 100% OF THE RENTAL WILL BE CHARGED***

Insurance & damage

We require a credit card for your security deposit and not a debit card. If there are damages to your rental your credit card will be charged in full for all damages, lost time and retrieval costs. Charges will not exceed your selected waiver option. If it is determined there are no damages to your machine at the end of your rental, your security deposit will be voided and or returned.

Insurance packages are as follows

Silver – $15 per day & $3,000 security deposit (including parts, labor, loss of use) All additional damage charges will be waived.

Gold – $30 per day & $2,000 security deposit (including parts, labor, loss of use) All additional damage charges will be waived.

Brown – Waive Insurance, $5,000 Paid up front prior to rental. Renter will be 100% responsible for all liability including personal injury and damage to machine (including parts, labor, loss of use) Renter will be responsible of full charge of msrp price for machine if a total loss.

*** You’re card will NOT be charged security deposit unless there is apparent damage after the machine is returned.

***Renters are 100% liable if providing their own transportation of machine. (including parts, labor, loss of use)
